- Potato - 2 medium size, cut into small pieces
- mustard seeds and urud dal - few
- sambar powder - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 7 tspn
Procedure:
- Heat a non stick pan and add oil .
- Once oil is hot, add the mustard seed and urud dal.
- Once the mustard starts cracking, add the potato pieces to it.
- Add the sambar masala powder and salt
- Fry the potato in medium flame for around 15 minutes till it is cooked well.
- This goes well as side dish for dal rice, curd rice, sambar, lemon rice
